Business

The Business BTEC is a great starting point for anyone who wants to work in a office or business environment. You will learn all aspects of business from finance to marketing to give you a real taste of what the world of business is like. BTECs sometimes have been called dull but with Heard of England Training we do it differently, you will do interactive activities such as Dragons Den and creating your own business plan. Not just 'chalk and talk teaching'.

We offer Business BTEC at levels 1and 2. So you can progress through all levels with us without moving to another training provider or college, easy! Heart of England Training has great links with employers so if you would like to progress onto a paid apprenticeship or full time employment we can assist you.

Work Experience

During your course we will support you with work experience which will assist you when the time comes to decide on your next steps.

Maths and English

Whilst on our full time courses you will be supported to progress with maths and English.  This could involve taking functional skills qualifications or even retaking GCSES with us when you are ready.

Financial support

The bursary is a fund to help you participate in learning.  It can be used to support with things such as travel or books and equipment and is assessed on an individual basis.  Childcare can be supported up to £160 per child per week through the care to learn scheme.  For more information visit https://www.gov.uk/care-to-learn/overview
