We were delighted to receive the news last week that one of our former learners has won a national hairdressing award.
Lauren Yates, based at Mack Hair & Beauty in Rugby, was crowned ‘Best for Blonde’ in The UK Hair & Beauty Awards virtual ceremony held on 31st March.
“I just wanted to say thank you to Simone, Sarah and Sheila for all my training during my time at HOET,” said Lauren when she shared her news with us the following morning. “I thank you all for pushing me to be the best I could be!”
Sheila Fretter, who manages our Rugby Academy for Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy courses, added: “We are very proud of this in the Rugby Centre and we wish Lauren all the best as she continues to thrive in her hairdressing career.”
