Heart of England Training is a private training provider established in 1971. We offer a carefully constructed portfolio of apprenticeships for businesses, schools and hairdressing/beauty salons. As well as this we also offer –
- 16-19 education programmes for young people in hairdressing, beauty therapy and sport;
- Pre-16 provisions with schools;
- Loan/privately-funded commercial courses including CAVA (assessors and internal quality assurance qualifications)
- Education and training qualifications.

Governance
Independent oversight and scrutiny play an essential part in ensuring that our provision is delivering the best possible quality of education and support for our learners. Our board of governors is made up of individuals with a passion for education and a broad range of skills in the business and education sectors. Safeguarding
Heart of England Training is committed to the safeguarding of learners and expects everyone to share these values. Safeguarding looks at keeping children, young people and vulnerable adults safe from a wide range of potential harm and delivers preventative action, not just reaction. We have two Senior Safeguarding Leads as well as designated Safeguarding Leads for each of our college and academy sites.
Guidance
Heart of England Training’s Matrix-accredited IAG service provides independent and impartial information, advice and guidance to current and potential learners across careers, employability and next-step planning.
Our aim is to help individuals make informed decisions, achieve their goals and progress confidently into future opportunities.
Our qualified Advisers offer personalised support, helping you understand your skills, values and interests, explore available pathways and create a clear career plan.
Where applicable, we also help match learners to meaningful work experience and industry placements, ensuring you gain practical skills and progress with the confidence, knowledge and attitude needed for employment or further study.

Subcontracting
We do not plan to subcontract any provision duplicating that which we already deliver, with the exception of taking employer providers into consideration. Where we do subcontract, it is with employer providers who support Heart of England Training in offering a more diverse range of high-quality apprenticeship programmes or apprenticeship with established employers wishing to deliver their own staff training programmes. We work with providers (partners) that offer enhanced opportunities, sought after by employers that have a strategic fit with our own programmes supporting better geographical access for learners.
Location
Our Head Office is located in Rugby. We have two Hair & Beauty Academies in Leicester and Rugby. We have five Football Education Academies in Birmingham, Daventry, Quorn, Peterborough and Warwick.
