Ellie is a learner who has just completed her full-time hairdressing course at our Hair and Beauty College located in Priory Walk, Birmingham and is now considering to continue her journey with Heart of England Training by starting an apprenticeship.
Ellie discovered Heart of England Training by searching for colleges online within her area, finding that it worked well for her with the support offered as well as its location. “The staff here are very supportive which is what I like the most”
“Since I was little I have always been surrounded by the hair and beauty industry” Ellie added “my mum is a beautician so I have grown up in a salon which is why it has always been a passion of mine to make someone feel good about themselves”.
Ellie completed sixth form and wanted to continue her education a little more before entering the working world. “I like being part of a group with people with the same interests as me, it’s nice to have friends with the same passions. We get regular clients come in here so you can make nice relationships with them which helps with my confidence. It is really helping me to get ready to start my career in hairdressing”.
When we asked what she likes the most about hairdressing, she said EVERYTHING!
