Heart of England Training’s Matrix accredited IAG Service provides current and potential learners and apprentices with independent, impartial information, advice and guidance in a wide range of all areas including careers and employability.

The purpose of our IAG service is to support our recipients to make informed decisions, achieve their goals and for learners to progress confidently to future opportunities. – See our policy here

Our team of qualified Advisers are available to provide you with impartial advice and guidance to support your aspirations explore the opportunities that are available to you and to help you plan your next steps after you complete your programme. Our aim is to help you assess your own skills, values and interests, and match these interests into a career plan.

In addition our team of will help match you to relevant and meaningful work experience and industry placements where applicable. Our aim is to ensure you can benefit from putting theory into practice and progress from our programmes with the knowledge, skills and attitude you need to be ready for employment or further study.

Whether you are on a full time course or an apprenticeship, you will be offered lots of support along the way such as:
