If working as a HR Support, learners are typically working in a medium to large organisation. This may be as part of the HR team providing support to managers and employees. Or, if working in a smaller organisation, learners are the HR Manager.
Day-to-day tasks might be queries, giving advice, recruitment and other HR processes. Knowledge of the business, HR changes, company policies and current laws are vital.
As a HR Support Apprentice, you will:
- Understand the structure of the organisation; the products and services it delivers
- Deliver customer service on a range of HR queries and requirements
- Use questioning and active listening skills to understand requirements
- Gain confidence in working independently and as part of a team
- Adapt positively to changing work priorities and patterns
As part of your assessment methods, you will showcase your knowledge, skills, and behaviours through a consultative project and professional discussion.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll benefit from:
- One-to-one workplace visits and mentoring
- Flexible virtual learning modules (VLE)
