Beau Dunkley is a learner currently completing his full-time Barbering Course in Leicester with Heart of England Training. He also works at a salon every Saturday, after successfully finishing his work experience there.
When asked why he decided to take on the qualification, Beau said he wanted to explore a new talent, as his mum also works as a barber.
“I am enjoying learning new skills and building my confidence, it’s easier to grasp the skills when working on real clients”.
Beau would recommend the course to anyone looking to develop and grow working in a salon, “You learn a new skill…You can also learn further advanced skills to be a teacher of barbering, there is a lot out there”
When we asked how he found his experience with Heart of England Training, Beau said ‘It has been really helpful”
“I get help with barbering and I find it straight forward as I get additional help with travel, work, to daily challenges I may have as well as gaining my qualification”.
