Heart of England Training is a private training provider established in 1971. We offer a carefully constructed portfolio of apprenticeships for businesses, schools and hairdressing/beauty salons as well as 16-19 education programmes for young people in hairdressing, beauty therapy, barbering and sport; pre-16 provisions with schools; loan/privately-funded commercial courses including CAVA (assessors and internal quality assurance qualifications) and education and training qualifications.
Being flexible to the needs of employers and learners is one of our core values as an organisation. We strive to offer a training provision that is tailored to an individual’s specific needs (and those of their employer), delivering a blend of knowledge and action that results in competent members of society and thriving businesses. Our vision is to be recognised as one of the best training providers in the country whilst responding quickly and efficiently to the emerging needs of local and national businesses and where learners and staff can be the best they can be. Governance
Independent oversight and scrutiny play an essential part in ensuring that our provision is delivering the best possible quality of education and support for our learners. Our board of governors is made up of individuals with a passion for education and a broad range of skills in the business and education sectors. Safeguarding
Heart of England Training is committed to the safeguarding of learners and expects everyone to share these values. Safeguarding looks at keeping children, young people and vulnerable adults safe from a wide range of potential harm and delivers preventative action, not just reaction. We have two Senior Safeguarding Leads as well as designated Safeguarding Leads for each of our college and academy sites.

The staff at Heart of England Training are not just here to train you but to advise and guide you throughout your programme as well as supporting you to progress. Subcontracting
We do not plan to subcontract any provision duplicating that which we already deliver, with the exception of taking employer providers into consideration. Where we do subcontract, it is with employer providers who support Heart of England Training in offering a more diverse range of high-quality apprenticeship programmes or apprenticeship with established employers wishing to deliver their own staff training programmes. We work with providers (partners) that offer enhanced opportunities, sought after by employers that have a strategic fit with our own programmes supporting better geographical access for learners.
Locations
Our Head Office is located in Rugby. We have four Hair & Beauty Colleges in Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Rugby. We have four Football Education Academies in Birmingham, Daventry, Quorn and Warwick.
