On Friday the 30th of June, more than 120 people celebrated completing their apprenticeship by joining Leicester Employment Hub’s Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony at De Monfort Hall.

Victoria Price, School Business Manager at Belviordale Primary School, was one of the successful graduates. Receiving a Distinction from our Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship

Become an admirable leader

Whilst being fundamental in a business organisation, operations management is just as important in the education sector, as they help maintain discipline and ensure a smooth and efficient running of all non-teaching aspects of the school.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Creating and delivering operational plans
  • Managing teams
  • Resource management
  • Coaching and mentoring

Victoria found that the qualification had given her the skills and knowledge to become a greater leader for her team.

“It has instilled the confidence in me to put this into practice.” She said, “By completing the course as an apprentice, it has allowed me to recognise the changes and solve problems with the tools I had been taught.”

How can we support you?

Throughout the Operations Manager Apprenticeship, we will provide you with curriculum-led learning through one-to-one contact sessions with an educator who is experienced in that relevant industry.

If you do not meet the minimum Maths & English requirements, we will also provide additional resources and support during the apprenticeship programme.

When asked what advice she would give to someone considering an apprenticeship with Heart of England Training, Victoria said:

“I would highly recommend this course to develop as a manager. Heart of England Training are amazing in supporting you through the transition!”
